UV protected polycarbonate tops only - designed like the traditional old skylights and has a larger 100mm fixing flange and weather strip, comes supplied with sealant and fixings. Ideal for replacing old imperial sizes and to be installed on flat roofs with new or existing builders' curbs.

Domed (A & B) or pyramids (C), Opal (A) or Clear (B) or Bronze (C).

Available in squares, rectangles and diameters in standard sizes from 300mm x 300mm up to 1400mm x 2600mm overall size.
To manufacture we require the roof opening dimensions and the overall existing curb dimensions.

Mk 2

Consists of an Extruded aluminium frame and a top, available in UV protected polycarbonate or flat glazing (D), domes (A) or pyramids (B) style.

All can be supplied in non-ventilated or ventilated (permanent where continuous airflow is required or Controllable, for areas requiring a varied air flow and is of a louvers design and operated by a pole) or hinged opening (C) form with worm screw gear or we even provide units with rain sensors which close automatically on moisture detection.

To manufacture we require the roof opening dimensions.

There are four systems for the Mark 11 series rooflights depending on the building site and other ventilation in the building. All are available built into the unit.
These are:

  1. Non ventilated systems, this is a basic complete unit for roof decks with or without kerbs, and where ventilation will be provided from other sources.
  2. Permanent ventilation, where continuous airflow is required. Ventilation is supplied by louvers that are fixed in an open position, and protected from rain via an aluminium weather cowl. If requested units can be supplied with fly screens.
  3. Controllable ventilation, where varied airflow is required. Ventilation is provided by pole operated louvers, also protected with an aluminium weather cowl, and fly screens optional. Hinged opening type for ventilation with manual pole screw gears or electrical actuators are available.
  4. Power ventilation, a range of high performance extract / intake ventilating units which enables high, medium or low speed, which can be pre-set, at installation, or at a later date to match ventilation requirements. We are able to advise on the best size unit for each application. Electrically controlled units are available and can be quoted.

Standard Materials

We use Aluminium to SI CH4 standard for all rooflights, which we press and bend to the appropriate section, which are then welded with high frequency T.I.G. welds. Galvanised mild steel Zintec can also be used in manufacturing as above, except welds are manually metal arc (MMA) weld. All welds are continuous seam welds for longevity and weathering. Finishes can be mill finished aluminium or optionally polyester powder coated to any standard R.A.L. colour. Galvanised steel is white primed to exposed faces, G.R.P. white impregnated.

UV protected polycarbonate tops only - designed to be installed to timber or metal upstands and supplied with sealants and fixings.

Available in opal, bronze or clear for replacement / refurbished or new installations.
Available in opal (B), bronze (A) or clear, domed (B) or pyramid (A).
Available in squares, rectangles and diameters in standard sizes from 450mm x 450mm up to 1200mm x 2400mm overall size.

To manufacture we require the overall existing curb dimensions.

Mk4

Circular one piece rooflights unit designed to fit directly onto a flat roof, with sealed upstand and top. (see Data sheet for Mk4 below - for diagram and full details) Tops in UV protected polycarbonate or glass - laminated, Stripstyle or Georgian wired.

Frames are GRP insulated reinforced, fabricated aluminium polyester powder coated (to any standard RAL colour) fixing and continuous rail, flat bottom flange for fixing direct to the roof and felting in.
Sizes from 600mm to 2000mm diameter.
